The Circle is for

Queers connecting to share their tales of spirit, light and magic

Queers seeking new forms of community, sustainability and love

The Circle has been meeting since 2004 and building a network of queer healers, magicians, artists, performers and prophets.   Through ritual, song, drum, dance, heart sharing and celebration the time of transformation, global and personal, that we are living through, is honoured, attuned to, and understood.

Circle events mostly happen in London, but Circlers can be found all around the UK and beyond at festivals, faerie gatherings, pagan camps, dance events etc.  Summer 2009 saw the first Queer Spirit Camp, at Hammonds Wood, a wonderful site in East Sussex.

Queers of all genders, all sexualities, all abilities, from all nations and all faiths are welcome at the Queer Spirit Circle.  We celebrate the Spirit of Life, of Love, of Joy.  We honour the Earth and her seasons.  We go beyond division and embrace unity through diversity.

And  we honour the hidden history of queers as healers, shamans, priest/esses throughout history, on every continent, and the visionaries of the 19th and 20th century who shared a vision of same-sex love as a profound radicalising liberating force in society... eg Walt Whitman, Edward Carpenter, Harry Hay....
